"From Magdeburg to the World" – Art Direction & Kit Design
Connected to the World Since 1893
This kit stands for the maritime identity and history of Magdeburg. Built at the end of the 19th century, the "Handelshafen" harbor once handled up to 1.4 million tons of grain, sugar and potash. The old granary, cranes and railway tracks still tell that story today.
The dominant tones of brick red and sand brown reference the granary building. Grey accents on sleeves and collar mirror the steel of the lift bridge, build in 1894 and still the oldest of its kind in Germany. This is part of Magdeburg's history. Worn on the pitch, carried into the world.
